Ford Simple pricing vs. X-Plan... Are the ACTUAL prices published ?

Whats the deal here? Is there info online about specific models?

Can you use BOTH simple plan and X-plan?

Or are you at the mercy of some dealer playing it by ear...so to speak?

The "Keep it Simple" price is a no-haggle amount that's on a window sticker directly from Ford, Jay.

You'd have to do side-by-side comparison with X-plan to see the difference. Bear in mind that with X-plan, they can't charge any of the extra fees, like advertising, for instance.

Thanks Artie.
But you really can't easily do it at home from your computer.
If you specked out a new LS then you would want to know the KIS price and the X-Price. It just wondered if that were possible? X and KIS prices online??

I'd have to agree with you Jay, this "Keep it Simple" is just plain simple in Fords thinking. I tried to speck out an LS last week and it competely made it a tough job, so I called the dealer...They wanted to sell an LS (06 MY), which I posted on another thread, and it was a better deal than X plan.

All I can come up with on this "Simple Plan" is a $3500 discount from Ford on the LS, Maybe Ford should of done what DC has done, 2 year free service, including gas and a 50,000 mile warranty rather than following GMC.

Log in here for X-plan.

Go to lincoln.com and click on the 'keep it simple' pricing window. They'll give you the price for an LS with no options. I suppose you could extrapolate from those numbers, but who knows how they're pricing options? The price doesn't look that great to me. I'm sure X-plan is better.

Ford sent out an eamil to all North American employees last week and said the X-plan is a better deal than the Keep It Simple Plan.

Nope. I never used it personally, but I think other members have. Maybe somebody in the know can help out. I get a D-plan PIN through my son.

I can get X plan prices on in stock vehicles through the fordpartner.com site but right now it's not working. They may have disabled it during the keep it simple pricing. They did the same thing during Friends and Family.
